Action Item: Make some "Hey" this weekend

If you’re hosting a watch party for the Brier — and you ought to be… even if it’s an emergency event — invite the “curling curious” to join you.

If you or your club doesn’t already have a game plan for the biggest weekend of curling viewing every year, here’s an easy take-action step.

The goal? “Hey, you guys do curling?” Tons of clips and highlights from Canada’s Brier tournament are saturating social media. It’s a great time to leverage this exposure.

Swipe and deploy, and ask everyone in club to share!

If you’re hosting a watch party — and you ought to be… even if it’s an emergency event 🤔 — invite the “curling curious” to join you.

Have everyone on your board share a post/video clip and include a way they can contact or follow your club or join the watch party.

“Be sure to follow Acme Curling Club…where dreams begin”. Or “comment below and I’ll follow up with how you can start your curling march to gold 🥇”

Brooklyn Curling hosts a packed Olympics watch party at the Canuck, a Canadian bar in Manhattan

If you’re having watch parties, invite your “warm list”, too. Folks that did Learn to Curls but didn’t commit to join, folks that dropped out. Create a mob wherever you set up your party.

When visibility is high, take massive action!

Now is a great time to be building and creating a WAITLIST for fall Learn to Curls.
